Our Radiologists have collectively evaluated millions of radiological exams over the past three-plus decades. They have consistently been involved and received advanced training in the most innovative imaging technologies in the world at their earliest stages of adoption. In recent years, this has included technologies such as digital mammography, 64-slice CT (including Cardiac CT and virtual colonoscopy) and 3.0T MRI (including Breast MRI and functional MRI imaging).
Each of our Radiologists is Certified by the American Board of Radiology; several of them also have Certificates of Advanced Qualifications in Neuroradiology and Interventional Radiology and other advanced certifications in clinical specialties such as Breast MRI. Our radiologists regularly travel the country to maintain the cutting-edge knowledge and skill sets so critical to the work they do.
We are proud to be able to offer our patients and their physicians a radiologist team with an extraordinary depth and breadth of experience and expertise. We are equally proud to be able to offer our community access to our radiologists ~ one of our radiologists is available 24 hours per day 7 days per week, including Holidays.

Our Radiology Practitioner Assistants (RPAs)
Salem Radiology was among the first providers in the country to pursue advanced education and training for its Radiological Technologists (RTs or Techs).
Our RPAs are radiological clinicians who have completed an additional and intensive 2-year education and training program above and beyond RT Certification (they are also Techs). The RPA designation enables them to perform a much broader set of radiological services and in effect, to serve as a clinical extension to our Radiologists.
As importantly, our RPAs serve as communication link to our Radiologists and the rest of our operations team, helping patients and their physicians arrange for required procedures and ensuring that they obtain the answers they need on urgent or complex cases in virtually real-time.
They are the go-to members of the clinical team as they
have the experience, the expertise and, immediate and direct
access to the radiologists working on any given day. If a
patient or physician needs to "cut to the chase" on a particular
situation, calling our offices and asking to speak to one
of our RPAs is an excellent place to start. One of them is
available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
Our RPAs are:
Ann Marie Edwards, RPA, RT (CT), (R) aedwards134@yahoo.com
Terry Licciardi, RPA, RT (CT), (R) tlicc@verizon.net
Peter Messina, RPA, RT (R) pmess04@yahoo.com
They can be reached by calling either Salem Radiology (603-898-4352) or Salem Advanced CT Imaging (603-898-3129).
